The guarantee activates when RecallProof’s system fails in one of these specific ways:

What’s Not Covered

The guarantee specifically covers RecallProof platform failures. It does not cover:

Appliances not in your inventory. If an appliance was never uploaded to RecallProof, we can’t monitor what we don’t know about. The guarantee covers only appliances actively tracked in your account.
Delays caused by your action (or inaction). If RecallProof delivers an alert and you don’t act within the 30-day window, that’s not a platform failure. The guarantee requires timely response to alerts.
Pre-existing recalls. Recalls published before your first upload are flagged as “historical findings” during onboarding, not as guarantee-eligible events.
Incidents unrelated to recalled appliances. General maintenance issues, non-recall habitability claims, or tenant disputes outside a CPSC recall are not covered.

How to Report a Guarantee Event

If you believe RecallProof missed a recall or failed to deliver an alert:

Email — [email protected] with your account name, affected unit(s), and the CPSC recall number
Phone — Enterprise customers can reach their dedicated account manager directly
In-app — use the “Report an Issue” function in your RecallProof dashboard

We investigate within 4 hours during business hours (8am–6pm PT, Monday–Friday). If the investigation confirms a platform failure, the guarantee activates immediately. No appeals process. No fine print.
